Management Team

Mark Herbst

Mark joined SuperTurbo Technologies in March 2010.  Mark currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining SuperTurbo Technologies, Mark held Division President and Chief Operating Officer roles at various public companies including Carrier Access Corporation and The DII Group in either the telecommunication access or electronic manufacturing services industries.  Mark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University.

 


 

Tom Waldron

Tom joined SuperTurbo Technologies in September 2009.  Tom serves as the Executive Vice President and has the primary responsibility for business development with the large engine OEMs.

Prior to joining SuperTurbo Technologies, Tom served as an Aviation Officer in the U.S. Army with combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq where he reached the rank of Major.  Tom graduated with a Bachelors Science Engineering Management from West Point Military Academy and an MBA from Colorado State University.

 


 

Barry Suelter

Barry joined SuperTurbo Technologies in September 2009.  Barry serves as the Company’s Engineering Manager as well as Chief Engineer and oversees the development of all SuperTurbo designs and the corresponding project plans.

Prior to SuperTurbo Technologies, Barry served in various engineering roles with a focus on new product design and development at Ingersoll-Rand, Fairbanks-Morse Pump Corporation, Eaton and Woodward.  Barry holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

 


 

Jason Keim

Jason joined SuperTurbo Technologies in June 2012.  Jason is the Director of Strategic Controls and Implementation.  In this role he oversees the development and implementation of the controls for the SuperTurbo.

Prior to joining SuperTurbo Technologies, Jason worked at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory where he developed real-time control systems, software and simulations for NASA missions.  Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in the field of Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California.  Jason also earned a Master of Science in the field of Mechanical Engineering from California State University at Los Angeles.

 


 

Jared Brin

Jared joined SuperTurbo Technologies in February 2010. Jared currently oversees the engine system optimization and simulation of the SuperTurbo working directly with the heavy duty engine OEMs. Jared also serves as the Intellectual Property Coordinator.

Prior to joining the company, Jared served in a student internship at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg, Germany. Jared graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
